at - 0900 hours Early
noon sightseeing in New Delhi: You see Humayuns Tomb, built by his wife
Haji Begum in 16. Century. An early example of mughal architecture considered
being the predecessor of Taj Mahal. Next is Qutub Minar. Qutub-ud-din Aibak using
the building material and pillars of the demolished Hindu temples built the Quwat-Ul-islam
mosque in the Qutub Minar complex. In the middle of the mosque there is an iron
pillar from 4.century and has not developed any rust since then. You see 72,5m
high victory tower (Qutub minar). Next pass by Parliament Buildings and President
Palace.

Day - Old Delhi sightseeing Starting
at - 0900 hours Old
Delhi is not only a modern Capital with Administration buildings, business streets
and large gardens but also is a historic city, which has the seeing attractions
of Muslim era (12. -18. Century). Afternoon city Tour of the Old Delhi, you see
the Red Fort the huge Fort with 33m high walls, private and public Audience Halls
and the private rooms of the Emperor which was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan
(1639-48 AD) after he shifted his capital from Agra to Delhi. Opposite Red Fort
lies Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque) made of red Sandstone and white Marble, the Indias
largest mosque which offers place to 20.000 people to pray. Next to Raj Ghat (Mahatma
Gandhis Memorial) where he was cremated following his assassination in Jan

Drive
from the hotel to Agra (204 km). Visit the most famous monument of India ,the
Taj Mahal. 20,000 worker from the central asia and europe were employed to construct
this most famous building ever made in the name of Love. Shah Jahan began the
construction of Taj Mahal in 1632 following the death of his loving wife Mumtaz
Mahal who died giving birth to their 14th child. It took 21 years (1632-53) to
complete this building. Red Fort (Fort and Palace , construction of the fort began
by Mughal King Akbar in 16th century and completed by his grandson Shah Jahan)Shah
Jahan was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb for 8 years in this fort, after which
he died finally. Lunch at hotel Jaypee Palace. Afternoon excursion to Fatehpur
Sikri. It took 16 years (1570-1586) this city to be completed and Mughal King
Akbar lived only 16 months and had to leave the city due to scarcity of water.
The beautiful palaces, mosques and gardens tell their own story. The English traveler
Ralph Finch described Fatehpur Sikri in 1589 as a city bigger than London with
1000 Elephants,30.000 horses and 800 concubines. There is also the Grave of muslim
sufi saint Sheikh Salim Chisti by whose blessing the childless Mughal Emperor

01 After breakfast drive to Agra .Arrival and transfer to hotel. Afternoon

01 Drive to Agra. After Arrival Transfer to hotel. Afternoon a small visit
to Taj Mahal, this word famous Tomb made of white marble, built in 1630 by the
Great Mughal king Shah Jahan in the Remembrance of his loving wife Mumtaz Mahal.
Early noon visit the Red Fort, a construction of red sandstone, Itimad-ud-Daulah
(Tomb of the parents of Nur Jahan) and second time the Taj Mahal, which appears
totally different in colour in the early morning light. Overnite in hotel Jaypee
Palace.
Day 02 After Breakfast leave Agra to Jaipur. On the way, you visit the
Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted city, which was made by Mughal King Akbar in the 16th
century, but unfortunately had to vacate the city because of the scarcity of water
supply. Afternoon you reach Jaipur, the Pink City. Overnight in Rajputana
Sheraton. Day 03 Early noon visit to Fort Amber (11 km),made between
13. 17.cent. You ascent the Fort on the Elephant back . Amber had been
the capital of the Kachwaha Rajput for 600 years till Maharaja Jai Singh
II in 1727 shifted the capital to Jaipur. You see the city palace (which is still
partially manned by the Maharaja), the famous Hawa Mahal (Palace of the wind),
Jantar Mantar (observatory of the king and astrologer Jai Singh II) and the market
place. Overnight stay in hotel Rajputana Sheraton. Day 04 Morning
at leasure- Afternoon Depart for Delhi . On arrival transfer to airport to connect
your flight.
