Climate

From October it starts to get pleasant in North India; by the end of November the climate is a little cold but very much bearable. People in Chandigarh people are robust with robust appetites and their food is like the Punjabis themselves, simple, sizeable and hearty with no unnecessary frills or exotic accompaniments.Marinated meat, chicken, fish, paneer, rotis and naans of many types are cooked in this novel oven and the results are delicious.Winter, in Punjab, brings in the season of the famous makki ki roti(maize flour bread) and sarson ka saag(mustard leaf gravy).Some of the other famous dishes includes: Dahi Bhalle, Dal Makkhani, Methi Ki Missi Roti, Simla Mirch, Mattar Paneer,Sarson Ka Saag,Murg Makkhani, Tandoori Chicken,Mutton Patialashahi,Gajjarela etc

Rock Garden or Garden of NekChand. NekChand dreamed of creating a temple to Gods and Goddesses out of discarded items of everyday use, for example tin cans, fluorescent lights and by highly imaginative reassembling made models of people and animals.
